This label is a tribute to the "trencadís" technique, invented by Gaudí.
It uses broken pieces of tiles and ceramic cemented together, with different shapes and hues.
Something beautiful is built using a discarded product, a broken object that is seemingly useless. Disconnected pieces make up an outstanding collage. Each piece is unique, distinctively broken; meticulously arranged with many others, they create a magnificent mosaic.
Gaudí used this technique in many of his works, even in the Sagrada Familia.
This specific trencadís fragment is located in the exterior wall of Parc Güell in Barcelona, a timeless modernist jewel where the exceptional architect left some of the best examples of trencadís.

Esta etiqueta es un homenaje a la técnica de trencadís, inventada por Gaudí. Consiste en usar pedazos rotos de azulejo y cerámica y colocarlos juntos, con distintas formas y tonalidades.
De un producto desechado, algo que se ha roto, que aparentemente no sirve para nada, se construye algo hermoso. A partir de cosas inconexas se crea un collage extraordinario. Cada pieza es única, únicamente rota, y junto a otras, en buenas manos, formarán un conjunto maravilloso.
